From January to February 2025, DFW added 19,800 jobs, with most gains in government and hospitality, while retail experienced losses. The local unemployment rate hasn’t been released yet, but job postings fell by 5.8%, and the Consumer Price Index rose slightly across Texas and the U.S. Registered nurses and software developers were the most in-demand roles.
