The DFW labor market lost 12,200 jobs from June to July, even as job postings climbed 14%. Registered nurses led the gains with postings up 37.7%, while truck drivers saw a 10.3% decline from June. Read the latest DFW Labor Market Update for more information. |
Canada-based financial services company Scotiabank will establish a regional headquarters in Dallas’ Victory Park and create 1,025 new jobs. The move was supported by a $10.8 million Texas Enterprise Fund grant from the State of Texas and a $2.7 million incentive from the City of Dallas. Read more about the announcement in D Magazine. |
