Director of Economic Development and Sustainability Liaison Jenny Mizutowicz represented UT Dallas on the Texoma Semiconductor Tech Hub (TSTH) Commercialization Panel during this year’s SMU Research and Innovation Week. Jenny shared what UT Dallas is doing to make the North Texas region more sustainable for the semiconductor industry through the North Texas Semiconductor Institute, and spoke more broadly about resources in North Texas for startups in the semiconductor space.

Earlier this week, City of Plano officials joined Foundry Commercial and partners to celebrate the official groundbreaking of Plano Midpoint. The project will replace an outdated office building with two state-of-the-art industrial facilities –spanning 226,900 and 96,100 square feet respectively– designed with 32-foot clear heights and high visibility along President George Bush Turnpike near UT Dallas. This project will bring critical industrial space and new opportunities to North Texas.
