Despite the region experiencing a decline in total job postings, the total employment is still on the rise with 21,900 new jobs being added to the DFW economy. This, coupled with an overall decline in the unemployment rate across the region, state, and nation point towards optimistic, if subdued growth for the Metroplex. To learn more about these trends read this month’s DFW Labor Market Update.

The Texas Education Agency recently commended UT Dallas’ Teacher Development Center and UTeach Dallas program for their high state licensure exam pass rate of more than 99% and for contributing significant numbers of graduates in high-need areas like math and science. Read more about this wonderful commendation and more about these programs in our News Center.
