Economic Development Update

UT Dallas Pipeline. UTD Arts and Technology Students in the VR Suite.

We have launched two new tools to help explore how UT Dallas is preparing its students for careers in the Dallas-Fort Worth metro. Check out our interactive UT Dallas Pipeline to discover how many students are currently enrolled in programs at UT Dallas that lead to careers in any particular SOC code. Search by SOC code, occupation, or major.

Visit our Labor Market Explorer for Students to tie UT Dallas programs to occupations, median salaries, and number of job openings in Dallas-Fort Worth. This tool also helps students determine which jobs are projected to grow in the next 10 years, and which ones are at risk for automation. Please share this tool with any students you may know who are currently selecting a major or career path!

We are happy to fulfill customized data requests for our North Texas economic development partners and to connect your organization with resources and contacts at UT Dallas that could lead to mutual economic development partnerships.

Please reach out to F&ED to learn how your organization can partner with UT Dallas.
