DFW Labor Market Update

This month’s DFW Labor Market Update covers job postings, employment, and unemployment for October 2020. We have added a new chart tracking cumulative job change since before the pandemic. Look for our November 2020 update on January 13, 2021!

UT Dallas hosted its annual Big Idea Competition, an entrepreneurial pitch contest presented by the Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (IIE), on November 19. More than $200,000 in prize money was awarded this year, and Dallas Mavericks owner and entrepreneur Mark Cuban delivered a keynote address. Read more about the competition and the prize winners.
