Economic Development Update

Our division works diligently to provide valuable data and resources to our internal and external economic development partners. Here are recent examples of how we have responded to data requests from our partners:
- An economic development organization contacted our team about a company interested in FinOps (finance and data science) talent in the area. We demonstrated how the Naveen Jindal School of Management offers degrees that would train students for employment in FinOps, complete with enrollment numbers in each program.
- Our team worked with staff in the Office of Development and Alumni Relations, providing data on 32 Engineering and Computer Science programs for a project with the Erik Jonsson School of Engineering and Computer Science to identify top employers for graduates.
We are happy to fulfill customized data requests for our North Texas economic development partners and to connect your organization with resources and contacts at UT Dallas that could lead to mutual economic development partnerships.
