Labor Market Trends – The latest occupational data for DFW has seen the region experience a net rise of 2,700 new jobs in August, with year-over-year growth placing this total at 154,800 new jobs since 2022. Hiring for educational workers increased in August as schools prepared for the start of a new school year.

Save the Date! The Fifth Annual Economic Development Summit is coming up in just under a month. UT Dallas Reaches Philanthropic Milestone – The University of Texas at Dallas has reached a historic milestone this fiscal year with over $96 million in donations received. Contributions came from the 17,572 gifts bestowed by 8,114 donors, $11 million from the Texas Research Incentive Program, and other ventures. “This historic achievement reflects the unwavering commitment of our alumni, donors and corporate partners,” said UT Dallas President Richard Benson.
