From hosting North Texas’ number one graduate business program to being the fifth highest ranked school nationally for most National Merit Scholars, UTD has come far from its humble beginnings and is recognized as one of the fastest-growing universities in the country. Texas Health Plano has begun construction on their new neonatal intensive care unit, adding seven private rooms for patients and families in addition to other facilities as part of a $3.9 million expansion. This move is critical for the increasing demand the hospital has been faced with in recent years, with their 2022 admissions being on par with admissions over the previous decade. As this part of North Texas continues to see explosive population growth we will expect more healthcare projects to be announced. |

A massive fleet modernization effort was recently announced by DART, which will see the adoption of 186 low- and no-emission vehicles replacing some of the oldest vehicles on the fleet. This effort is supported by the Federal Transit Administration with a $103 million grant through the 2021 Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act. |
