Economic Development Update

One of the most common products used by economic developers to understand their communities are property maps. In this month’s edition of The Connection, our team goes through some of the more common ways of mapping and displaying this data. Earlier this month, the City of Richardson held a grand opening of its Innovation Quarter Headquarters. The IQ HQ is a partnership between the City and UT Dallas to spearhead innovation and development in the area. The IQ HQ will be home to five new research centers and an extension of the University’s Venture Development Center, which is a leading incubator designed to help students, faculty, and alumni commercialize their ideas and innovations.
