Economic Development Update

July 27, 2022

By 2024, UT Dallas will be host to the new DART Silver Line, connecting our University directly to the rest of the ever-expansive rail network. This development will have a massive impact on both the students of UTD, many of which rely on public transportation to move around the region, and the wider community. In our new interactive web map, we highlight many of the new employment and internship opportunities that our students will have increased access to with the establishment of this new line.

The Office of Facilities & Economic Development met with exchange students of the Centro de Investigación y Docencia Económicas (CIDE), a prestigious center of research and education from Mexico, to talk about our University s role in promoting strong regional economic development.

We are happy to fulfill customized data requests for our North Texas economic development partners and to connect your organization with resources and contacts at UT Dallas that could lead to mutual economic development partnerships.

Please reach out to F&ED to learn how your organization can partner with UT Dallas.
