The DFW Metroplex experienced a net gain of 25,800 jobs in September, bringing the region a mere 2,400 jobs short of the pre-pandemic peaks in February 2020. Unemployment rates have continued to see an overall decline across the region, state, and nationwide. For more details, see this month’s DFW Labor Market Update.

In October, Northside at UT Dallas was formally dedicated in a ribbon cutting ceremony, marking the completion of Phase IV and overall conclusion of the project. This new mixed-use development adds 2,540 new beds and has created 24,685 gross square feet of retail space. The event was attended by representatives of the community and development team behind the project. Read more about how Northside evolved.
