We explored projects that relocated and/or expanded within the Metroplex in 2025 in the February issue of The Connection. This month we highlight major new projects for the same year. North Texas continues to see new activity across technology, manufacturing, logistics, and hospitality. These projects are expected to bring significant capital investment and new jobs to the region, adding to its continued business growth.

North Texas is experiencing momentum in developing and attracting life sciences to the region, and UT Dallas is playing a role in preparing students to work in the field locally. Director of Economic Development Jenny Mizutowicz was recently quoted in Bisnow on how UT Dallas’ Bioengineering department trains students for jobs in life sciences.
